To add joy to the Chinese New Year celebration, pig-themed lanterns at Dong Zen Temple listed in Malaysia Book of Records as the ‘Largest Hand-Painted Pig Lanterns’. Three giant hand-painted pigs with the measurement of 4.7 meters (H) and 3.1 meters (W) and 1.2 meters (L) were placed on a 10 meters high platform as the theme of the lantern festival. The three giant pig-themed lanterns, with peony and plum blossoms as decorations, reflect traditional Chinese culture and the arrival of spring. The certificate was presented on a good note on February 19, 2019, to Ven Jue Chang, Chief Abbess of the temple, the lantern-design team and artist Yan Cai Xing who painted the lanterns.
